Where curiosity blooms and confidence shines.

Every day is a new opportunity to learn, play, and thrive at The Village Learning Center.

Our Commitment to Quality, Equity, and Belonging

Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. At The Village Learning Center, we strive to meet the highest standards for childcare providers. Each of our centers is guided by talented and qualified professionals who uphold top-tier care and learning standards, positioning every student to be successful both in and beyond our classrooms.

Our commitment to quality, equity, and belonging ensures consistent excellence in how we teach, nurture, and inspire every child in our care.

Quality

Quality is at the core of everything we do. At The Village Learning Center, we participate in state and national quality assurance programs to deliver exceptional care. Ongoing professional development ensures our teachers stay current. Curriculum and teaching practices are regularly adapted to reflect emerging research and proven approaches.

Equity

We recognize that every child’s story is unique. That’s why we prioritize equitable opportunities and individualized support for every learner, embracing differences in background, culture, experience, identity, and ability. We help each child to grow confidently at their own pace and realize their full potential.

Belonging

Belonging is what transforms a classroom into a community. We create spaces where children feel seen, families feel connected, and teachers feel proud to make a difference. Together, we build an environment rooted in kindness, inclusion, and care, so everyone who walks through our doors knows they belong.

Who We Are

Rooted in trust. Growing through discovery.

For more than 35 years, The Village Learning Center has been a trusted part of the Pennington and Sicklerville communities, providing a safe, nurturing environment where children learn through discovery and play.

We understand that today’s busy families need more than care; they need a partner they can count on. Our dedicated and highly trained teachers create meaningful experiences that help each child reach their full potential while giving parents peace of mind.

Using a comprehensive, emergent, and research-based curriculum recommended by the New Jersey Department of Education, we nurture every aspect of development—social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive—building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

The Village Learning Center proudly participates in Grow NJ Kids, New Jersey’s quality rating and improvement system for early care and education programs. This state initiative helps early learning centers like ours continually evaluate and enhance quality through universal standards and professional resources. For families, it offers clear insight into a program’s commitment to excellence, with quality ratings that help guide confident childcare decisions.

As part of the Early Learning Academies (ELA) family, we’re connected to a growing network of early childhood centers led by professionals who share our commitment to quality, consistency, and community.

At every stage, our focus is simple: supporting each child’s growth while building lasting partnerships with the families we serve.
